Even though 2015 is over, I just couldn't forget to put this last session on the blog. I got so busy getting everyones photos out before the holidays that I didn't get one last blog post up and it's an important one....since it's my only nephew! This was a beautiful evening in atlanta as the last rays of the setting sun shed their golden light on us. Little man was smilie as ever and we even got good (BIG) old Nell in the picture! For the few mins we had before we ran out of light, we got some great shots and I'm so happy we were able to squeeze this time in. Love you guys!

This past weekend I got to see friends I hadn't in maybe a year...These three lovely young people had grown so much!!! Now the oldest is taller than me! They were so wonderful to work with, and if you're used to chasing toddlers around with a camera as I am, this was quite a change up. I Love seeing the stair-step ages and envision this is what my 3 will look like all too soon!

We enjoyed great weather and the last leaves of fall. Bright yellow ginkgo leaves...I almost had to tone down the gorgeous colors. It seems almost to make up for all the rain, we've had some simply perfect days. It's hard to believe it's almost december when it's almost 80 out and sunny. However, I'll take it! It's so much nicer to take pictures when you can feel your fingers and the kids aren't shivering! well as you can guess and see from the pictures this family and I had a great time in the leaves. They are simply a delight to be around and I am lucky enough to see them regularly at our children's school. These two little cuties are just as sweet as they look and big sister LOVES her brother! I enjoyed them even more since they remind me exactly of my youngest two kids. I so enjoyed seeing them all four laughing and playing; It's so apparent in the pictures they have fun together and love each other...and I live for seeing that in photos. They might have set a record for most kisses in a session...adorbs. Thank you guys for asking me to capture these special moments!

I'm finally catching up on my blogging...with all the rainy weather we've had this fall, it pushed all my fall sessions together and made quite a mountain of editing and blogging to do...but no way I wanted to miss giving my Son's kindergarten teacher (and dear friend) and her family the shout out they deserve! Esther has been in our lives for a couple years now and we couldn't be more blessed to have a teacher that loves our son and at the same time makes sure he's growing up to be a good young man! Often teachers are not appreciated for the hard hard work they do, and it's a shame since they have one of the most important jobs in the world! Esther is amazing, she is latin, smart, sweet, beautiful, tough, kind, and funny, could you ask for more? She will make the best mom one day, and I know Justin is lucky to have her! Her parents are in town for a month from Mexico and got to join us for our shoot. My son has adopted them as grandparents while they've been here and I know he will be sad to see them go! What a beautiful family, inside and out!

I had the pleasure of meeting a new wonderful family last week, thanks to another sweet client. These guys not only looked like they walked off the cover of a magazine, but were kind, uncomplicated, fun, and a pure delight to work with. Their little girl is the same age as my youngest (17 months) and even though it's seriously the hardest age to work with, she was just awesome, especially since it was quite a cool morning! I so enjoyed my time with them and I just love their pictures...I hope they love them half as much! :) Happy Thanksgiving...you have much to be thankful for!

Sometimes as a photographer you get to watch a family, from behind the camera, just being themselves, loving each other, and you get to capture that moment in time....there's nothing quite like it. This session on a crisp fall morning last week was just that. I was there to capture them just having a good time, loving each other and full of joy. They seem to check stress and expectations at the door and come to interact with and enjoy each other. What an amazing difference it makes. This first pic of mom and dad with giddy girls in arms, might be one of my all time favorite shots! What a drop dead gorgeous bunch and as sweet as they come. Thank you guys for letting me be part of such a wonderful moment in your lives.

I was so excited to see one of my favorite little clients the other day! Lyla has grown so much since the spring and she is so adorable. Little lady took a spill right on her nose...just mins before we started pictures, but she was tough and really bounced right back...you can't even tell from the smiles we got! I Just love this sweet family and am so honored to get to see them again! Happy holidays guys!

If this doesn't give you your baby fix, nothing will! I got to spend the morning with the sweetest newborn girl, only 6 days new! I loved meeting little savanna and her lovely parents since I've know her grandparents for many years...before I had human kids (just dogs).  She was an absolute dream and completely cooperated with everything we did with her.  I just wanted to keep her. What a darling, and a beautiful family. You all are so very blessed!!!
