Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest, EASIEST family to photography ever. Now Samson...the weimaraner did make us all work a bit (we have two of these dogs, so I am well versed in the breed), but over all this session was a breeze! Everyone did exactly what I asked immediately, and was always looking at the camera and smiling! I could hardly believe how quickly we finished and got some simply beautiful pictures. I wanted to post so many more than this, but I am trying to post less these days and spend more time with family...so I had to cut it down to just a few, but they have so many beautiful images to pick from...I'm glad I don't have to decide! :)

Look at this perfect tiny sweetheart! This little guy got the nickname "Little Flip" after a very active 9months in the womb! He's here now and set the record for sleeping through a newborn session. His rockstar mom followed my directions so perfectly that I never even got to see this little guy open his eyes! He was in deep sleep the whole time and no matter what position we put him in he happily slept through. He was like posing the sweetest baby doll ever! I was in love! Big sister (with T-shirt to prove it) was very interested in all we were doing and with so much personality, she really added a lot to every picture. I just love photographing siblings! As a mom of 3 myself, there is nothing like a wonderful picture of the most precious people in your life! I hope you all are getting some sleep and enjoying that little flip!

I've gotten so busy lately, I've fallen behind on my bogging....but this little guy was too precious not to share. I was so excited to meet little henry since I've known his family for years and am proud to call them friends. We met at their home and enjoyed a peaceful lifestyle shoot. He was a little sleeping angel...seriously have you ever seen a baby so angelic and serene in sleep? He was just perfect and his sweet family adores him. Thank you guys for letting me capture this special time in your lives. Those boys are beyond precious and you are sooo blessed! Love you!

Look at this sweet baby girl! I got to meet her and her family last week at their home and what a great time we had. At two months she was all smiles and really loved the camera. She loved the attention so much in fact, it was hard to get her to stop playing and smiling to get a few sleeping shots! But it was so fun to photograph her with her grandparents and get to watch her interact with mom and dad...she is as in love with them as they are with her. I love getting to be a small part of such a beautiful time in their lives.

Today I got to meet this little man on his actual first birthday! What a cutie! Even though he was feeling under the weather (and believe me it was cold out!), he still managed to pull out a few smiles! It was so nice to meet the whole family, including adorable furry member! I can't wait to meet them again for a Studio session and smash cake, what fun we'll have!!! Have a wonderful birthday!

Hello World, meet Isaac! At 11 days new, this little nugget was just too sweet! He even gave us a few smiles that I was able to catch! I enjoyed the time I spent with him and his sweet family so much! My only regret is that I wish I had held him just a little longer and savored that newborn goodness just a little more. This time when children are so new, so fresh, so much a piece of heaven, is so short and fleeting. Although they become even cuter and more fun as they grow, there is still nothing on earth like a newborn!  I am so honored every time I get to photograph this stage and this once in a lifetime moment when we all marvel at how we come into this world. Big brother James was a darling and is so happy to have a baby...I loved watching all the smiles and kisses when we did the whole family. I'm looking forward to seeing these guys again for a lifestyle session where we can get a few more of james and baby!

Today we were blessed with the very best weather for this mornings' session. I got to meet the sweetest family with the biggest heart. They are one good looking group and I so enjoyed my time with them, getting to be part of this very special memory. The boys were just darling and their interactions were priceless. I don't think I've ever had such a hard time narrowing the shots down after a session...and I still couldn't really narrow it down too much (as you can see lol).
