fall afternoon
What a perfect fall afternoon, not cold, but finally some relief from the atlanta heat! The light this afternoon was especially nice...and I couldn't have asked for more wonderful children...these guys made it easy. I love this family, they are very dear to my family and kids as we have known them for years as friends and we get to go to preschool and elementary school with them! I was honored to get to take their very first family photos together...so I hope you all enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them. Love you guys, Besos!
New Friends
One of the best parts of my job is that I get to meet new families all the time, this morning I met an especially kind and beautiful family. Big brother Dillon was very sweet with his little sister and everyone did a fantastic job following directions! I really enjoyed our time together and love the sweet images we got. Hope you all love these adorable little smiles and treasure these memories forever!
"Two Cute"
Here's another sweet family I got to meet last year and see again this year. Wow had little man grown and changed in a year! He was very easy last year and this year he was a little more opinionated about how we should conduct our time together! haha. We still got the smilies and cuteness out of him we were looking for, despite being almost two years old and all that brings with it! Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday season and incredible new year!
Fall Giggles
This special family has been with me for a couple years now and I've gotten to see these sweet sisters grow in pictures. We get to see them even more now that out kiddos are in school together. They seem to get cuter every time I see them! We had fun today and got some precious smiles and frames full of giggles! Fall Kick off
Get a load of this handsome guy that kicked off my fall sessions! I love seeing my little friends year to year and marveling over how they've grown. Kenny is 7 going on 13 and I think he has grown in both stature as well as maturity (although he was always quite mature!). He's just delightful to be around and would make any mama proud to call him son! I hope I get to take his senior pictures one day and compare them to these sweet images!
Two is Terrific
Last time I saw this little guy we were celebrating one! I just can't wrap my head around how fast the years go...because he's two already and has a sister on the way! We had a beautiful Sat morning (hot as it may be :) and Liam was an angel; it truly is a joy just watching him run around and be 2! My youngest is 2 as well and it's such a great age!
I'm excited for this sweet growing family, I know they can't wait to meet baby sister when she comes! Thank you guys for spending time with me today and for trusting me with these special memories, I really enjoyed it!
Crazy, busy, fun!
Last week I got to see a family who I've enjoyed getting to know for many reasons. Most of all because they are so real! They remind me of my own family...crazy, busy, and so much fun! These guys are a good looking and adorable bunch, and can you believe those dark reflective eyes they all have?! Amazing!
I get to see them about every 6 months and I really appreciate the priority they have put on having regular pictures of their growing family done; primarily because I feel the same way about documenting my children and our family's memories. Believe me, it's hard work! It's not easy to pick a time and work out schedules, then to pick out all the outfits (and go shopping to fill in what you're missing), and try to make sure everyone is coordinating. Then on the day of, to get everyone up and dressed and fed and to the early meeting time. Then try everything you know to do to get the kids to not run off, to look at the camera, smile and not fall apart before the end of the session. It's exhausting for all involved...but it is SO worth it. Those moments of frustration, bribing, sweat in the hot sun are momentary, but the moments between siblings and parents/children and smiles you have in the pictures last a life time. Everyone should remember this and make sure to get your family's pictures done often.! You will never look back and wish you hadn't taken pictures, only that you had done it more often!
Thank you guys for all our times together. I will miss you greatly as you move away this summer. If you're ever back in town, I'll be here! Have a safe move and wonderful new life back home. Oh and happy birthday to a beautiful, wonderful wife and mother! You're very blessed!

First Communion
Today started off with a First Communion session for one of my friends and her family. Her eldest daughter was having her first communion in the church and I got to come and take pictures of the whole gang. We are lucky enough get to see them regularly at school, but it's so fun to see them all dressed up and ready for this big event! The whole family is just gorgeous, and even though the youngest wasn't so keen on being corralled, they all did a great job and we got some sweet memories to remember this day!
Sweet Sisters
Spring is such a busy time of year! I'm just catching up on my posts and couldn't leave off this beautiful family. They are dear friends and I get to take pictures of them all the time, but it can be challenging to get a picture of little kids together, well this time was the charm. Good moods all around and the girls have gotten just old enough to make this session a big success! So now the sisters have some sweet shots together! :) Love you guys!
Purple Rain
You might be wondering about the title of this post, well as probably everyone knows Prince passed this week...and this little baby would have made him proud! I must explain...
This is Snuggie (nickname), she is one of my all time favorite little people...for many reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that God crammed about 10 kids personality into this one little girl. To say she is adorable is an understatement. Well as she and I were doing our thing, she would be posing and then go off in her own world and break out into the song "purple rain". As you can see from the pictures, she would put her all into it. It was like she was transported to a concert and feeling the music all around her. I wished the whole time I was photographing her that my camera was a video recorder, it was that cute!!! I can't wait to see what she's doing the next time we meet. Love you guys!
